This item is a beautiful gift for mothers and grandmothers alike. Created using 18 gauge aluminum discs of 1/2", 3/4" and 1" inch sizes, each disc can be stamped with the name of a child or grandchild and are connected to either a 16" or 18" inch sterling silver chain with each disc stacked one atop of another, usually showing the order of each child with the youngest featured on the top and the eldest at the bottom on the largest disc.
